Cappadocia camel safari is a peaceful ride on the back of a friendly camel to witness the breathtaking views of the valleys.

The camels themselves are raised locally and have interacted with people since they were very young. They are chosen for their friendly, docile nature and introduced to the route at a young age, so that by the time they are mature, they understand fully where they are going and see it as a form of exercise. You will be introduced to your camel by a professional who will teach you how to treat the camel as a pet, forming a bond with you before you head off out to the mystical valleys of Cappadocia. In 2024, price of Cappadocia Camel Safari is 40 € per person. Children under 10 years old are not allowed to ride a camel but can ride the same camel together with their parents.
Your tour begins with collection from your hotel in the Cappadocia area, and subsequent return at the end of the tour. Pickup time may vary from week to week, for example if you choose the sunrise or sunset safari, those times will differ each week. You will be notified of your time for collection the day before, to accommodate these changing times. Your choice of times will be made when you book with your operator.
Once you arrive at the base, your professional guide will introduce you to the camels and give you a brief safety talk. You will be able to interact with your camel until you are ready to leave, in convoy, through the Goreme valleys.
Your ride should last an hour approximately, with stops given over to photography of this famous area.
When your tour is complete, you return to the base, say goodbye to your newfound friends and return by arranged transport, to your hotel.
