Artemis Hamam, nestled in the delightful village of Tigaki, is the only traditional bath (hamam) on the island of Kos. This luxury sanctuary spans 2000 square meters and offers a blissful two-hour relaxation journey designed to prepare your tan for your vacation.

Hamam’s tranquil environment houses two large and one private hamams, six massage rooms, separate locker rooms for men and women, two spacious saunas, a vitamin bar, nail studio, hair salon, and even a textile & gift shop.

Your pampering experience at Artemis Hamam begins with a trip to the sauna, followed by an invigorating shock shower. Next, you’ll enjoy a complete body scrub that gently removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft, healthy, and ready to tan. Your treatment concludes with a full body foam massage. Total experience lasting approximately 50 minutes, provides an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Dedicated staff of Artemis Hamam, which includes about 20 trained masseuses/masseurs and two professional nail artists, are all fully licensed. Their top-notch service and attention to detail ensure an outstanding experience for every visitor.

Your relaxing journey at Artemis Hammam kicks off with a comfortable pick-up service. This complimentary transport picks you up from anywhere on the island, also from Kardamena.

Pick-up services operate every hour from 09:00 – 18:00.

Arrival and Preparation

Upon reaching Artemis Hammam, our friendly staff welcomes you, walks you through the process, and provides information about the treatments available.

You’ll be handed a locker for safely storing your personal items and a traditional peshtemal to wear during your Hammam experience.

Your relaxation journey begins in the sauna, a core aspect of the Hammam ritual. Here, the heat softens your skin and prepares it for the scrubbing process. It also opens up your pores to eliminate toxins from your skin.

Refreshing Shock Shower

After the sauna, take a brisk shock shower. This not only improves your blood circulation and bolsters your immune system but also provides much-needed stress relief, helping you relax both physically and mentally.

Exfoliation or Scrubbing

The Hammam experience is incomplete without scrubbing. This process involves deep skin exfoliation on a warm marble slab using a special kese mitt. Made from natural fibers, this mitt removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft, healthy, and glowing.

Foam Massage

Following the scrub, you’ll enjoy a soothing full-body foam massage. This process, involving a special soap mixed with water to produce a rich lather, cleans your body and enhances blood circulation, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.
